U of I Jumps 33 Spots in Forbes Rankings
The University of Illinois has jumped 33 spots in Forbes magazine's ranking of America's top colleges. The university is now 53rd on the list.
The magazine said its rankings are based on a student's investment-return. That includes postgraduate job success and salary, as well as student debt.
A university spokesperson said it's nice to be recognized, but the university has its own criteria for measuring its performance.
The university ranks ahead of Wisconsin, Texas, Penn State, and Indiana.
