Brandt Breaks Ground on Expansion
A leading agri-business in the capital city is expanding. Construction crews broke ground this morning on the $22,000 square foot expansion project at Brandt's global headquarters.
The company specializes in agricultural products. Brandt moved to its current location on Koke Mill in 2007. President and CEO Rick Brandt said the fifteen-month project is necessary to keep up with current and future demands.
"We really didn't expect to grow this quick and need the space this quickly," Brandt said. "But it's a good thing."
Brandt was recently named one of the fastest-growing private companies nationwide by Inc. Magazine 500. This is the fourth year the company made the list.
