Macon County Meth Bust
A drug bust in Macon County lands two people behind bars while keeping thousands of dollars worth of meth off the streets. Authorities say 800 grams of methamphetamine, in various stages of production, has been apprehended. The estimated street value is $80 thousand.
Authorities say busts this size are rare, and this particular one never would have happened without the help of a concerned citizen. The sheriff says if something doesn't look right call the authorities.
The bust took place in the rural Warrensburg-Latham area.
A stolen ATV was also found in the back of the truck.
Authorities say 37 year old Jeremy McMahon and 33 year old Christen Sheets rare under arrest tonight facing a list of drug and theft related charges. So far, their bond has not been set.
